Kayaköy, anciently known as Lebessos, is in the Fethiye region. This is not far from Dalyan. It is a famous 'ghost town' which was once a major Greek settlement but deportations during and after the WWI as part of the removal of Ottoman Greeks left it totally unoccupied. Now in ruins it is a powerful and solumn tourist attraction and well worth a visit.
