Thistlegorm
One of the most famous wrecks in the world, the Thistlegorm was carrying armaments and supplies to the allied forces in Egypt when on 6th October 1941 she was sunk by Heinkel Bombers while waiting at Sha'ab Ali in the Gulf of Suez for clearance to proceed to the Suez Canal.
